ALTERNATE UNIVERSES OVERVIEW

Below you will find synposes of all of my alternate universes, AKA projects inspired by already existing media. Each will have a brief overview of what they are for your convenience.

MISERY'S HAND

An alternate turnout to JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE: GOLDEN WIND by Hirohiko Araki.Alongside Bucciarati's squad comes another squad in Passione led by a man named Zaccheo Verdone. Following him are four loyal and powerful members- Lorena Smeriglio, Silvana Civiello, Roma Caldarone, and Fidenzio Vitello. These two squads would often work together. After Bucciarati and his squad betray the Boss- save for Fugo- Verdone's squad is the first sent to kill them. However, in an unexpected turn of events, Verdone's squad all agree to betray the Boss, as well. With two former squads now fused into one, they all move in unison in order to protect Trish and put an end to her father's tyrannical, despicable rule.

MERCENARY'S SONG

An alternate turnout to the FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN': HAZY RIVER MOD by atsuover.A man named Alvaro has lived his life as a mercenary, although his range of missions is anywhere from heists to assassinations. On a walk one night to calm himself, he meets a green-haired man named Garcello. The two end up acquainting and later becoming friends.One day Daddy Dearest approaches Alvaro, requesting he beat BF in a battle. While initially refusing, he eventually agrees upon DD's threat towards Garcello. Though he loses against them, he requests that BF or GF call him should they ever meet his good friend. They agree, and the three even end up acquainted themselves.The fated day comes when GF and BF call Alvaro in a panic, claiming they'd met Garcello. Without hesitation, Alvaro takes off to rescue him. He arrives just in the nick of time, saving Garcello and challenging Dearest. He wins by wounding DD badly. After that, Garcello has Alvaro stay with him so that he can treat his wounds, then has him stay the night as it was late.The following morning Alvaro leaves with intentions to think things through and sort his feelings. Upon coming to a conclusion, he meets with Garcello again and they talk about it. Now knowing they both harbour feelings for each other, they proceed forward infinitely more comfortable than previously known. They end up going on a double date with BF and GF, and overall find peace after the recent events that had transpired.Ever since that fateful night, Alvaro has been discovering truths about himself- like the fact he is half demon- and how it begins to transform him. Much, much more is in store for him, things that Alvaro could never have foreseen.What lies in the truths surrounding his origins? There is still more to this story that has yet to be revealed.

MASKING TIME

An alternate turnout to WII DELETED YOU by IceyPie/NuclearBlue.Watchmarks.They mark the day of our birth and once our death comes, they change, marking our end. Everyone has one; after all, no one can stop the inevitability of death.However, there are rare cases in which people hold traits and abilities related to these Watchmarks. A man named Harper was cursed to hear the ringing that prematurely marked the end of their time in the land of the living; and so they waited, never telling a soul of what was to come.Another man, Mike Scottsville, has been cursed his whole life to hear when other people's time would come. Born with the extremely rare ability to hear others' ringing before their death, he often tried to get to places where terrible things would happen, or would try to warn people, and he was called a child of disaster because of his ability to "predict" tragedy. He stopped telling people of what would happen, and eventually it became something akin to background noise, learning to tune it out and accept fate. But when strange events start to occur at his place of work (that being Nintendo of America), it isn't long before he realises something is amiss. Terrified of investigating but being the only one who can, he begins to look into the things happening, working to uncover the strange and dark truths within the walls he's known for so long.

FATED ARROWS

An alternate turnout to THE STANLEY PARABLE by CROWS CROWS CROWS.The Narrator is so proud of his new little game and his silly little creations! He finds himself especially attached to a little man he's created named Stanley; capable of decision and thought and holding his own free will, unlike his other creations. However, the moment the Narrator is about to indulge in his new little world...FWOOSH!A golden arrow shoots off from the Narrator's arm, piercing the other man's heart, its aim true.The Narrator has been cursed with a Fated Arrow, something similar to that of the Red String of Fate. What does this mean for the Narrator? What does this mean for Stanley? Nobody knows.Join us in this little world full of strange characters, of a cruel and twisted fate, and figure out what the meaning is behind this seemingly ill-meaning Fated Arrow, destined to kill Stanley in every life and every reset.

HUNTING FALSEHOODS

An alternate turnout to THE STANLEY PARABLE by CROWS CROWS CROWS.The Stanley Parable. Such an intriguing and wondrous experience. Stanley's free will is nothing more than part of the story, or so it appears; that is, until he seems to snap out of his trance.Stanley remembers his wife, his kids, how he was forced to leave his family behind all for this sick plot. Anger takes hold, and he confronts the Narrator. The Narrator tries to cover it up, to reason with Stanley, but to no avail. Stanley's hatred is far too strong; so strong, in fact, that it separates completely from him. This creature born of his hate turns the little office building into a nightmare, taking Stanley with it and trapping the Narrator within the walls of his own creation.Out of the Narrator's guilt and shame for what he had caused, and now feeling lonelier than ever, a piece of him splits away too, disappearing into the halls of the office to never be seen again.The Narrator must hide from this false version of Stanley, for if it finds him, he's good as dead. With Stanley missing and no way to escape the office, it's a fight for survival against something that cannot be killed.

NOMADS OF NO MAN'S LAND

An alternate ending to TRIGUN MAXIMUM by Yasuhiro Nightow.Nomads of No Man's Land follows a former bandit gang leader by the name of River Moore. However, he was eventually met with mutiny, being thrown out of his group that had slowly gotten corrupted over time. While on the run, he meets the unlikely LR duo- that being Livio and Razlo- and worries he's put himself in even more trouble than he had been in previously. Livio offers to help him, and he initially refuses, not one to trust others easily. However, they end up partnering together despite all things, and the strange duo- duo? Trio? Group?Well, the Double Fang, the Tri-Punisher, the Silent Death and the Ghost of the Desert stick together, off for new adventures and to maybe see some old friends.

THE OTHER SIDE OF PARADISE

An alternate turnout to THE MONUMENT MYTHOS S3'S B PLOT by THE MANTICORE/EVE CASANAS.The 18 year old on the run is desperate to get in contact with the vice president James Dean and explain himself, to prove that he is not responsible for Eunice's fate. However, upon the two meeting, Dean tackles him in a fit of anger. They are unfortunately drawn to the music of the Washington Monument, which lures Dean and terrifies Howard. Despite Howard's attempts to ward the vice president away, the two end up in Wonderland, forced to escape the nightmarish landscape of endless trees together despite their differences.Will they make it back home, or will they be lost to the trees forever?

SOLACE IN GRIEF

An alternate turnout to THE NIXONVERSE/THE HOUSE IN THE OCEAN by THE MANTICORE/EVE CASANAS.After the events of THE HOUSE IN THE OCEAN and THE ED DWIGHT PARADOX does our story take place. A strange fusion of The Nixonverse and THITO both, Eli finds himself feeling almost guilty for our King in mourning. However, the Crescent King wishes not to be messed with by human life again, and Eli wishes to never see the King again after being used as a vessel.Despite both claiming to not want to see the other again, both in grieving over their losses, the two end up seeking solace in one another, drawn to each other. Eli, having lost his dear friend, the King, having lost everything he's known. And yet, the two find something to hold onto within each other.Dive into this short but bittersweet story about an astronomer and a king, both of whom must learn to move on from loss.

WHERE THE WORLD FELL APART AGAIN

An alternate turnout to THE MONUMENT MYTHOS S3 by THE MANTICORE/EVE CASANAS.When the Martian Serpent bursts from Mars after it's nuked by Elon Musk, it is up to the Cthonauts to deal with this catastrophic task.Cthonaut A., better known as A or Alex, is forced to oversee the mission, commanded by his higher-ups. He later finds out that his younger brother, Cthonaut C., better known as C or Christian, is to go it alone on the mission to explore the Martian Serpent Metastructure.This admittedly worries Alex. He and Christian are survivors of the Great Division, having fled the Deanverse after its destruction. Despite this, his brother is willing to undergo the mission anyway, only as confident as he is because his brother is the one who has his back. Despite this, Alex still worries, as his brother is all he has left, and he'd rather not risk putting him in danger.How will the mission go? What will Christian find during his exploration in a seemingly unfamiliar land? Pop on in to this little story and find out.

HOWARD IN WONDERLAND

An strange combination of THE MONUMENT MYTHOS, THE NIXONVERSE and THE HOUSE IN THE OCEAN by THE MANTICORE/EVE CASANAS.After the Melrose-Dean crash in DEANDEVIL, Cthonaut A. resets the universe, returning the world as it was before the disaster occurs. Comedy has ended up back in his place, but Tragedy has disappeared under mysterious circumstances...And he has found himself in Wonderland.Now the young journalist must find his way out of the nightmarish hellscape between realities, but it appears as if something is keeping him trapped. Will Howard Melrose ever make it home? Will he succumb to a land of colourless, bare trees and a dark starless abyss?OR, PERHAPS, WILL HE FIND HIMSELF FALLING RIGHT INTO A TRAP UNFORESEEN?By all means, join us in Wonderland and find out the terrifying, strange, wondrous and tragic events that take place.

AIMING TO MAKE AMENDS

An alternate turnout to THE WALTEN FILES by MARTIN PAREDES.Jack Walten and Felix Kranken are the founders of BunnySmiles Inc. As they are preparing to officially open their restaurant, Jack hosts a party, inviting people to get a first look at it. During this party, a man insults Jack and their workers, and Felix later starts a brawl with this man upon further provocation, unwilling to let him slander their names. However, realizing after the fact that he'd caused a scene, he flees, breaking down as everything he's realized throughout the night starts to get to him. Jack tries to console him, but Felix has made the decision to leave the company, and before Jack can stop him, he runs away, packs some essentials from home, and flees the state, believing he has to change, to become a better person (as he's been struggling with an alcohol addiction for an extended period of time, among other things), and start anew.Felix ends up finding his way to a ranch by the name of Setting Sun Ranch, where an older woman named Shelly hires him as a farmhand. Felix uses the constant work as a way to get his old life off his mind, working himself to the bone every day. As times goes on, he gets better and better, thinks about his old life less and less, and feels as if he's significantly improved in so many ways over the course of a few years.One fateful day, Felix is told one of Shelly's friends could use some help. Felix agrees, and to his surprise, is sent back home- not without his trusty steed, Moon Shadow, of course. The two head back to Brighton County, where Felix meets Johnny at Crossroad Ranch. The two quickly become friends, although Johnny does end up recognizing Felix, much to his dismay. With his past so close behind him now, Felix's old feelings come sprouting back.Regardless, he truly has changed so much, but there is one thing that has always, always haunted him- and that thing was Jack.Despite this, Felix does his best to move on, to let go, long since having accepted his new life entirely. Things, however, would not work in his favour on that end.

DEANDEMONOLOGY

An alternate turnout to THE MONUMENT MYTHOS BY THE MANTICORE/EVE CASANAS.In the world of Mythos, strange phenomena are no new thing.In this world, ghosts and spirits are seen, heard and communicated with differently; because not everyone has the ability to do any of the three. Some will sense spirits, some will hear spirits, and some will see them- but it is not guaranteed to have all three of these psychic abilities. Although it's quite rare to be able to communicate with ghosts on a face-to-face level fully, it is possible.Dean is a demonologist in this world; renowned for his exceptional ability to deal with spirits and, of course, demons. However, he is also known as a person of catastrophe; his cases often seeming to lead to disaster. Churches usually detest him, turn him down or away, or see his business through swiftly and send him off. One day, however, a priest named Clift decides to accompany him. The two forge a friendship through their travels across the country.Meanwhile a trio of ex-Maize employees is also frequently on cases, two who can communicate with ghosts and one who cannot. The three make for a formidable team, although they keep themselves hidden from the public as they're... well, technically criminals. Maize is a renowned paranormal investigation institute that is known for their high-quality ghost hunting technology. And this trio may or may not have stolen things they weren't supposed to.Almost similarly, a boy who does paranormal investigations and journalism on his own is another rather renowned investigator. Not because of his ability; in fact, he can only hear spirits, which is the most common trait of paranormal investigators. However, his family name follows him wherever he goes, as well as tragedy. Despite the tragedy that haunts him, he is sought after by Maize, simply because of his family name. Preferring to be by himself, and believing it's better that way, he refuses them.Three very strange and different situations of paranormal investigators; each always quick to jump on a case. Strange things lurk about, but no one seems to have any inkling, except the journalist himself. What events will play out in this world of ghosts, spirits and echoes of time and worlds?

LIGHT SEEKERS

An alternate turnout to THE BACKROOMS by KANE PARSONS, heavily based on fan theories existing at the time of its creation.Vice Director Ivan Beck spends his days working on Project KV31, studying the Complex and its infinite mystery. As the overseer of it, although he does not enter the Complex himself, he is desperate to learn its secrets. Sometimes, this causes him to get a bit ahead of himself and make sacrifices and mistakes that otherwise could have been prevented.And that's where our story starts.There are whispers that the Director of ASYNC, Lawrence Altman, has gone missing or has holed himself up in his office. With enough worry spread around the office, including the occasional employee or scientist poking him with questions on if he knows anything, Dr. Beck goes to check on Lawrence himself. Upon entering his office, he is met with the sight of the man half-trapped in the floor, being swallowed by the Complex through a Null Zone. Before either party can say anything, it takes Lawrence whole, fully dragging him into the infinite and endless expanse of rooms that Ivan has spent so long trying to unravel the mysteries of.Now weighed down by the responsibility of getting Lawrence back safe from the Complex, he is forced to make a decision- either risk entering the Complex himself, or risk taking too long, thus further jeopardizing Lawrence's safety.What other choice does he have?
